Over the past three years, a dedicated faculty of artists has spent countless hours testing and tweaking until the desired results were achieved. They gave us their most prized bells, many decades old and covered in rust, but with a magic sound. At Gon Bops, we know sound comes first. That’s why we use special tempered steel, overlap seems and clean weld joints to make sure every cowbell is as musical as you are.

Then there’s the age-old problem of the outdated cowbell eyebolt. No matter how much it’s tightened, it just doesn’t hold. All Gon Bops bells have a patented vice clamp mounting system that holds the bell securely and accepts a memory lock to fit on 9.5 mm to 12 mm rods. A simple invention, yet players have said it could be the most revolutionary improvement in traditional instruments since the tunable conga.
