Emanuel Navarro Huertas
Emanuel Orlando Navarro Huertas is the third son of the incomparable Lilliam Huertas and the renowned Puerto Rican arranger, composer, and pianist, Manolo Navarro. From a young age, Ema developed a deep passion for music, following in the footsteps of his siblings, Johanny and Carlos Navarro. At the age of 12, he was accepted into the Escuela Libre de Música de San Juan Ernesto Ramos Antonini, where he began his journey into the world of percussion, shaping himself not only as a musician and percussionist but also as a human being.
After completing his studies at the Escuela Libre de Música, Ema was accepted into the Conservatorio de Música de Puerto Rico, majoring in Jazz and Caribbean Music, where he studied Afro-Caribbean Percussion under the mentorship of Professor Andrew Lázaro. Upon graduating in 2018, he made the decision to take a leap and attend Berklee College of Music, where he was accepted to pursue a Master’s degree in Music Production, Technology, and Innovation, which he completed with honors in 2023.
Emanuel possesses a wide range of talents within the music world, allowing him to excel as a recording and live performer, arranger, composer, recording engineer, and producer.
