Junior Karegato is a Brazilian percussionist, drummer, composer, and music educator with more than 20 years of professional experience dedicated to Brazilian music and percussion.

A graduate of the renowned Dr. Carlos de Campos Conservatory of Music (Conservatório de Tatuí), he specialized in Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) and Jazz, building a solid artistic career
through recordings, live performances, educational projects, and cultural initiatives.

A specialist in Brazilian rhythms, Junior has dedicated his career to the preservation, study, and promotion of Brazil’s rich rhythmic and cultural heritage through percussion.

In addition to his work as a performer, he is the composer and creator of the original album “Ótica,” available on major digital streaming platforms. His professional background also includes serving as a percussion instructor with Projeto Guri, one of Latin America’s leading music education
