Rhumer Mora was born in Maracay (Aragua State, Venezuela). He studied music at the Federico Villena Conservatory and later he continued his studies at the Valencia Music Technology Institute where he got his master’s degree in Folkloric Percussion. His superb execution of Afro-Caribbean musical instruments earned him the opportunity to play with the legendary world-renowned group Dimension Latina. After that, he spent seven years in Spain, pursuing his musical career performing with multiple bands in tours around Europe. After Spain, he moved to Houston, TX in 2011 where he’s a member of the AFM for 8 years and is currently a student at Texas State University (TSU), pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Performance and is one of the members of the TSU Jazz ensemble.
