Gabby Cintron

Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Ángel Gabriel “Gabby” Cintrón Martínez’ parents raised him in the Christian faith. From a young age, his father (Ángel Luis, who was a bongocero for Luis Carrión Sr.’s band) taught him to play percussion instruments, and at the same time, he began to discover the music of salsa artists.
Gabby is also a singer-songwriter, and as a percussionist, he has collaborated and shared the stage with several internationally renowned artists, such as La India, Orq. En Clave, Richie Ray & Bobby Cruz, Ismael Miranda, Omega Drums (David Ortíz “La Mole”), Charlie Maldonado and his orchestra, and Orq. Isla Bonita (by Carlos “Cuto” Soto, Son A Toa (by Jesse Caldrón), Orq.Coraza Celestial, Orq.Alianza (by Angel Nieves), Orq.Majestad, Wanda Rolón and Orq.La Senda, Hector Olmo and his orq., Jacob Z and his orq., Orq.Los Friends, Ezequiel Colón and his orq., Gabriel André (Latín Jazz) and Bri “La Pelua” among others.
He participates in social activities that promote music and family education. He is a fan of the boleros performed by Benny Moré, Héctor Lavoe, and Santos Colón.
He loves his family and children. He dedicates time to charitable work for people with emotional and physical needs. He continues to work hard to represent the Latino community around the world through his music.
